My family are a bunch of co-dependents....they all enable my
habit...including my husband. Last Christmas they bought me Bill
Flanagan's book. For my birthday last year they gave me the Pop Poster
and T-shirt...they even replaced my old worn out copy of 'Rattle and
Hum."...this year I'm confident I'll get the PoPMart video..they always
make a big deal of it when anyone says "You too" in conversation..."Have
a Merry Christmas" "You too"..."I'm sure they will but what about me!"
I think it's just a matter of growing up and not feeling threatned by
it. For some men...I'm sorry to say that takes a long time :) I told
my husband early in our marriage that I didn't care what he looked at as
long as he didn't care what I looked at..he looked at Paula Abdul a lot
but I didn't mind...(she and I were both short and ethnically mixed...I
guess he just likes that kind of woman :) but he got over it and he
realizes that I like U2 because of their music...not because of any band
members physical attributes so he has fun with it. He doesn't even mind
the PoP poster on the wall...he shouldn't..he gave it to me!!!

why did an old post of mine show up in yesterday's digest...? I had
forgotten about it and there it was...I just simply thought it hadn't
gone through or something...Oh well... they edited the Bono mention out
of Storytellers...'Walk Unafraid' is still a great song though..probably
the best song on "UP" (Even without the Bono input :)
