To reply to the EW correction topic: I've e-mailed them about a couple of
stupid mistakes they've made in the past...the corrections showed up several
issues later. (not sure how many issues later, though.) So be patient. :)

As far as the second half of my subject line, IMHO this is one of the most
patently ridiculous things I've seen on this list in the year and a half
I've been on it. Intervention? Puh-leez! :-P OK, I'm not feeling well today,
so pardon me for saying that that Lori chick needs a slap upside the head.

Frankly, the only "intervention" that needs to be done is for Joel to
intervene and tell us all to stop posting on this subject. D'oh, I'm posting
on it. Oops.

I can just see the conversation over in Dublin now:
Edge: Hey Bono, I was reading Wire the other day and everyone's all upset
because you're an alcoholic coke addict.
Bono: Really? That's news to me. Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't Ali tell
me? What else have I been doing that I don't know about?
