Hi:)

I was scrolling through the archives of AOL u2 best of interview boards and I
found something interesting...here it is..the signature says it is from Kevin
Max(smith) of DC Talk....

When i first heard u2 on the radio in michigan when i was 14 years old. I will
never forget the impact that it made on me. I was adopted into a christian
home as a very young child and was cast into a way of life that is
christianity. But, through hearing U2 my ideas of God and things of spiritual
matter took on a more passionate voice, i really admired and looked up to
fellow christians who could rock, ask questions, and push the
realms of fashion and modern-thought. Bono has been a silent mentor to me and
my gratitude is much. There will never be a group as diverse and intuitive as
U2 and i hope there never will be. God made them and their career, now it is
up to them to use it and build upon it. I have several friends in the industry
of music that have met the band personally and have only the best things to
say about them. They are human, and flawed but true warriors
at heart. C.S. Lewis would have loved to see Mephisto in action.

peace and love from a fellow irishman, kevin max-dctalk

well there is the letter...
in the name of hope, faith, love and u2
