first things frist.
i have found out that well, U2 is re-releasing a few albums in Japan in
feb or 1999. I know for sure there is AB, Joshua Tree and Zooropa but I
am not sure of the other one.. maybe War? but these new releases will
have new packaging and lyrics reprinted. go to Espirt Webpage to find
out more (sorry i don;t have the addy on me...)
SECOND:
I really was not wanting to post about this but i just have a few things
to say about the whole bono and drug thing. REally does it matter to
us? As much as we love these guys we have to understand that well, they
have their own private lives and there are certain times we as fans have
to just sit back and not think about it. If Bono is doing drugs or if
he isn't it is up to HIM to want to share it with us, not up to us to
either talk about it all the time or jump to conclusions either way.
Look Adam wanted pll to know and he said, but well, yeah..:) that's my
two worthless canadian cents on that one..
THIRD:
ahh the Beatles. (this kind a relates to two as well) I think that U2
really have a lot of respect and if you will, things in common with the
beatles. First, they are each a four member band, they both have a ever
changing variety of Music, they both are involved in this "drug" thing
now..:P and they were both on the cover of time. They obviously respect
what the beatles have done for our times and well look! With such covers
as "happiness is a WArm guy," "Helter Skelter", "Dear Prudence", "Rain"
, and others, how can we not say they like and find these guys as
mentors? (yes i am a little beatle ppl supporter) :P
so yeah dats all i have to say about that..:)
