U2 were on the popular LATE LATE show in Dublin's RTE Television
studios. The show was a tribute to the people of Omagh. In and around
200 people from Omagh were there in the audience. They were the first
act on the show and they performed a song called ' North and south of
the river' I think it was. The next time we saw them was at the end of
the show when the rapped things up playing an unpolluted version of 'All
I want is you' which was brilliant. Really was.
