i would just like to thank everyone who responded to me in good humour!!
tanya - trust me, i have been to ALL the websites, where her fans fiercely
defend her against this "rumour" (we all know it's true.) anyway, if you do
a JLC search, you just get listed about 10000 porn sites!! anyway, i'm sure
this bet will never be resolved...
now - onto our boys. i just thought i'd share a quick thought of mine on
my popmart experience. i was lucky enough to make it to melbourne from
sydney alone with $6 to see the show aswell as catching it my much loved
own town. now, one of my fondest memories, above even seeing 'bad' live
twice (!), the rain in sydney, 'all i want is you' in melbourne, the
lightening during 'one' ( with the lights out - oh baby!), and actually
getting to talk to bono after about 3 hours in the sydney rain, was seeing
my friends, who i had roped into coming along, up on their chairs dancing
and going off, looking over at me, gesturing with manic enthusiam, stupid
noises and hands held high. seeing them moved to tears during WOWY. leaving
my barrier position to hold my best friend's hand during 'one'. aaah, i
love u2 like crazy, but i love my funky-from that live experience on
converted forever to u2-beautiful friends far better!! (daniel, if you are
reading this, you know you are truly my u2 soul brother. it was great to be
there with oyu and your gal!)
from now, i announce myself "stupid tangent girl on wire". i'd just like
to leave you with this proverb: 'it is said that bono will undoubtedly grow
old beautifully, much like robert deniro'.
