Hi,
Just got my copy of GH in today's mail(along w/ Bob Dylan Live 1966)
I havent' opened GH yet and the first things going thru my mind
are:
1. Glad I bought it mainly bec. the b-sides are easier to listen
when they are compiled on one cd rather than on the various cassettes
I have them on.
2. Why did the band leave off "Gloria" and "BTBS" and include
"when Love Comes To Town" and "Angel of Harlem"?

I wonder how many "new fans" U2 will pick up as a result of this
GH set? How many will go seek out the earlier albums after listening
to the power of "I Will Follow" or the sheer power of "WTSHNN"?

The sticker on the front of GH, "Limited Edition", seems like a
good marketing ploy.I mean, that's the main reason I bought it,rather
ordered it over the net, the first week, to get the b-sides edition.

I may change my opinion after I listen to GH, but I feel a bit
"ambiavlent" about putting it own right away and listening to it
over and over.

Do you think GH will bring more enjoyment to "newer" listeners of the
band as opposed to those fans who already own all of the cd's that
the GH tracks first appeared on?

George
P.S. Does anyone on the list have any of the World Series games on
videotape?
