That's okay. I was mostly just upset because I thought the purpose of my
original post had been misinterpreted. I do see your point though about
others being unduly negative. Personally, I have no real objections to
this Best Of album - people who think U2 are selling out obviously do not
grasp the fact that music = product, and that doesn't have to affect the
music itself - none of the songs on the album are any less great for being
on the one CD...

I disagree - I think that just being a
fan does not bind one to completly accept everything they do. Really, the
only power we have as fans is to choose to withdraw our fandom if we no
longer support the band's actions
