Bono's Phrasing / New Sweetest Thing

What could be the prigins of Bono's change in phrasing? It has indeed
evloved over the years.

I first noticed the change when they sang Angel of Harlem Dublin 1993.
The part where he sang "SHE sees the truth behind the lies" with the
emphasis on SHE. In the album version it was "she SEES the truth
behind the lies" with the emphasis on SEES. One's accent and phrasing
is what makes him distinct and things like these are done
subconsciously and coem naturally. So in the 5 year span, there must
have been some influneces that affected Bono's language. Both accents
are not wrong, by the way. It is just a comment.

I just noticed this after comparing both versions of Sweetest Thing.
I may not just be talking about the phrasing but maybe to an extent
also the accent. Could this be due to their touring different
countries and thus adapting to different ways of English?

Well, its just me giving my unsolicited comments.

PS: I just want to add that the new version of Sweetest Thing is not
"lower" because like the first one it is still played in C. So
whatever differences are present may simply be due to the evolution
(or is it degradation?) of Bono's voice over the years. But I
guarantee that Bono is not out of tune at all in the new version and
he sings it perfectly in C, just like the first one but he just sounds
a little different (not to mention the different "phrasing")
