this is my first official posting on wire. I have been reading for
about two years now. Anyway, we all know that Sweetest Thing was
released to radio yesterday. But here in Madison WI, they have not
played it yet. I have made calls to the stations here most likely to
play it - 92.1 MAD and 105.5 MMM. Both of them didn't sound very
enthused. But I have been making some headway with the morning guy on
92.1. He is a fan as well, and really would like to play and is
talking to the station manager.
My point,
first if you live in or around Madison, give 92.1 a call @ 281-0921.
Second, I think that we should do what we did back when IGWSHA came
out and e-mail and call our local radio stations, and show our support
for the band. I know that this idea was not popular with everyone
last time, but if you don't like it you don't need to do it. So
please don't write and criticize those of us who want to here U2
played on the radio.
These are the kind of things fans do!!!!
Thanks
nian
