So I'm partying and drinking at a local watering hole called "The
Crazy Horse"(no relation to Neil though...:( ), and I went up to the
DJ to request a song or two. Off to the DJs side, guess, just guess
what I saw?
A CD with " The Sweetest Thing ('98)"! To steal a line from
Ric Flair, "WHOOOOOOOO!"
It's a bit slower as far as Bono's singing is concerned, and his
voice(obviously) is a bit lower as well. There was this strange...
well, not strange but different sort of (oh what do they call that
type of music....) Hrmm.....SCAT! Yeah, that's it! There was
this little scat thing at the end. The Edge's guitaring was more
pronounced than the original as well.
IMHO, having heard it once, I like it. I'm not sure if I heard a
single version or if it was a REMIX either, but who cares -- I just
heard a new U2 song :) :)
