For years now I have been trying to tell anyone that will listen to me
that U2 are the greatest band going around, past or present (Beatles
excluded). Often I find the best way to introduce someone, is to get
them to listen to songs they have heard before, ie. radio and movies and
then show them that U2 have so many MORE great songs.
I'd rather someone listened to a song with some depth to it (like U2)
rather than some of the crap going around nowadays like Spice Girls,
Savage Garden, Backstreet Boys, Mariah Carey ...... blah blah blah, and
that U2 also has appeal to the young indie crowds cos they are able to
continually release new sounds as most young people want something
different.
So I think that if we can get more people to listen to U2 (we dont need
to convince the die hards, as we are already fans) then U2 will continue
to be the greatest band for many years to come.
That means more albums, more concerts, more "appearances". We all know
what an awesome experience it is to be at one of their concerts, imagine
how all the 'newbies' would be after going to their 1st U2 concert AFTER
discovering them on this GH album.
I think it is a great idea.

PS. sorry about the babbling there, lol.
