Actually, I think the "their" this person was correcting was the first
one: "Besides Tempe _their_ will only be..." It should be "Besides
Tempe _there_ will only be..." Now, that is really getting nit-picky,
but this guy is getting awfully defensive of something he didn't write,
and if, after having the mistake pointed out to him, he still doesn't
see it. . . I just couldn't help myself.

He calls us all ignorant fools, and creates an excuse for using a
specially-created address. I'd say that shows us that it is a hoax, and
he assumed we would believe it because, to him, we are "ignorant fools."

Poptician, or whatever he calls himself, might not have said that it was
official, but he did say that his wife was 100% sure that the
information was correct. I find that misleading.

I'm not overly upset by this guy, or his information that we presume to
be false. I'm just a bit annoyed by how he deems it necessary to talk
down to all of us (all 4,000 +), calling us "ignorant fools," and
"assholes." If he doesn't want us to get personal with him, why does he
feel the need to get personal with us? I don't think this mailing list
is a place to judge, and he is threatening us because he feels
threatened himself. ("They've found me out, I've got to defend myself
somehow," he's probably thinking.) I just don't agree with the way he
defends himself.
JOEL: What would happen if "Poptician" did overload our e-mail systems
somehow? Would you boot him out? It doesn't really matter, does it,
since he already told us that Poptician isn't his regular e-mail
address. Maybe you could give him a warning of some kind? I hardly
think that would be very effective, though.
Anyway, I love you all, and I think you are all wonderful, brilliant,
creative people, no matter what "Poptician" says.
Dreaming with stars in my eyes,
LB
