In the original recording sessions, Bono did record a voice track for this
song. There was a debate about whether they should release Zooropa with
the Johnny Cash vocals or Bono (the Edge wanted to use Bono's vocals as
this was supposed to be a Euro album). Somewhere, somewhere there is a
studio version with Bono's vocals.
