I seriously doubt this is true. We know for a fact that the band is still
working on the album, so why in the world would they already have booked
venues, when that was what gave them problems during the beginning of
Popmart, as mentioned in the Vh1 Legends special?
The show clearly stated that U2 booked the venues before they were finished
with the album, which was clearly a big mistake. Because they're album ran
over the expected time limit, they were busy finishing the actual album,
when they should have been practicing for the tour.
I really don't think the band would make the same mistake twice.
But that's just my opinion.
