I was fortunate enough to see Red Rocks (although not the War tour in
person), the Conspiracy of Hope tour, and the JT tour. I remember when
U2 were a young group that *everyone* was talking about....it was so
exciting. There's a flip side to this treasure coin, though. It's a
feeling of "oh, hell, that was 15 years ago". I wish I could go through
it again and obviously I can't!! :-) As much as I love their more recent
work, I'm still nostalgic for that excitement, that passion, that
happened when U2 first took the rock world by storm. It was a great time
to be a rock 'n roll fan. Sometimes I really miss it! I know that sounds
silly, but it's the truth.
