>>Cher has even dedicated her new book to the group's frontman BONO,
hoping to attract his attention.<<

Umm, are we sure this isn't really a reference to the father of her
daughter, the late Sonny BONO? Or someone in his family? Seems more
likely somehow.

>>Whitney Houston has just released her first studio album in eight
years (90) and was bitterly disappointed that Bono could not
contribute to it.
She reveals,"It was a real shame because I desperately wanted to
work with him. His schedule was just too busy and he couldn't find
time. But I hope that we can work on a collaboration at some stage in
the future."<<

Too BUSY? Pffff. Perhaps the reason that he didn't want to work
with her is because she turned into such a diva bitch with an asshole
husband. 'Cause back in 1987 U2 half-joked that the only reason they
agreed to do the Very Special Christmas album was beause Jimmy Iovine
promised them they'd get to do a duet with none other than Whitney
Houston.
