my birthday (only U2 content of course)

I turned 20 today. No big deal, I just wanted to let you know about one of my lame presents. My parents went rummaging through my U2 stuff, hoping they could head over to HMV & buy me a CD. No such luck. My mom took my Joshua Tree record to a laser place and got the image on a t-shirt. Now, it looks pretty dumb and I doubt I'll wear it, but the cool part is the guys who work at the store.

When my mom went to the mall this morning to pick up the shirt, the guy said "oh, we were hoping you wouldn't come back cause we wanted to keep the record. The Joshua tree is so awesome." He even hesitated giving it back to my mom. She had to pry it from his hands. She also said they were playing U2 in the store, she thought it was With or without you.

Got 3 copies of the Popmart vid from my friends and tons of other U2 stuff I already own. I guess I'll be exchanging it for non-U2 stuff.
