I wish my friends/family had the wherewithal to think of music for
Christmas. I'm sure I'll be getting lots of sweaters that don't fit and
have the tags removed so I can't exchange them. Why can't they just embrace
the joy of gift certificates?

I also tend to love the songs that most people dislike or ignore. How can
anyone *not* love Trip Through Your Wires? I think Bono has said that it's
not great lyrically but I think it's beautiful, besides the fact that it
just plain ROCKS. Elvis Presley and America is one of my favorite songs
from UF - right after Bad. And North and South of the River is just perfect
- aching, begging, hopeful.

Another underrated song: Exit.
