Mexico PopMart Video and "Until the End of the World".......

Ok, ok. This has probably been posted a thousand times before on here... but
i am new to the list. I am just curious about the deal after Last Night on
Earth and before and during UTEOTW when Bono talks to crowd and drops his
guitar. What is going on? I have tried to figure out what it was all
about... can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.
