    I just wanted to let everone who has e-mailed me privately about
these two posts (9 so far) that I am very grateful that you all took the
time to thank me for what I wrote. Apparently I have spoken for a
previously under-represented segment of the Wire readership regarding
the whole drug issue. I'm glad all of you are able to understand the
wisdom in open-mindedness and compassion concerning this issue; an
understanding, I'm sure, our group would be proud of you for having.
