"Bono" was on Jenny Jones last night

At about 12:30 last night, I turned on the t.v. while I was getting
ready for bed, and I'm thinking, oh God, it's Jenny Jones, better switch
the channel quick! But then she says after the break they're going to
have a guy on who is so crazy about Bono (and of course she pronounces
it like Sonny Bono) that he dresses like him and thinks he looks like
him. So it was so funny I decided to watch it. Lo and behold after the
commercial break, Jenny apoligised for pronouncing Bono wrong because
apparently people were really giving her a hard time for it during the
break! Then they had the guy come out. I think his name was Mike, and
he was 21. He didn't look that much like Bono, but he was trying really
hard. When he came out, he was trying to do the posturing like
stage-Bono, though he was moving too jerkily, and then he unrolled one
of the PopMart t-shirts with a big Bono on the front and tried to sit
like that. He also kept scrunching his face up and trying to do Bono
funny-faces. He had orange goggles on, and his hair was all cut short
like PopMart Bono. He had a picture of himself in his room (plastered
with U2) and a photo of himself and some friends meeting Bono (one was
holding a sign that said My Mammy), and he gave a copy to Jenny.
Anyway, the whole thing was funny, and I kept thinking he seemed like
someone who would be at home here in the virtual U2 community (-ies).
