Daniel Lanois 2 U2

Just thought I mention this to anyone who's interested in Daniel Lanois's music.
Maybe everyone knows this already.

Daniel Lanois' first two albums, Acadie (1989) and For the Beauty of Wynona(1993), are quite good to listen and to and very well written. Acadie is simply brilliant. If you get a chance, try giving it a listen. I am sure most U2ies will like his "sand-paper mellow" sound. Actually, if I am not mistaken, Bono and rest of the boys are involved in the first album "Acadie". His third album, I think, is a live version of his old songs.

Anyways, just to let you know that Lanois' quite a crooner too, if ya didn't know.

p.s. I mean what's the deal with the "sweetest thing" single? Do they have to charge $12.99 for it?? bleh!
