The 'Joy' Album
it, but, I don't really like 'Sweetest Thing' all that much. It's
personally too much of a bubble gum song for me. I loved Pop, Zooropa
and Achtung Baby, but ST seems a bit (forgive the political
incorrectness) 'girlie' from a rock band. Yes, I know it's a love song
and you can't really make rockin' love songs
Now, some may say that ST is a joyous song, and if the guys are in
the studio creating a joyous album, does that mean that we're gonna
get an album full of ST-like songs? I hope not.
Personally, I liked U2's idea of all the fidelity (when you're 15,
that kind of stuff kicks!) and stuff. The last three albums have been
rather dark and moody, and I like that (I'm a bit of a depressive, I
like Radiohead).
I just don't want this 'Joy' album to become a weak, flimsy album. But
that probably won't happen, Larry won't allow it.

P.S I think for the next tour, instead of having Bono and Edge going
out onto the b-stage to sing, we need Adam and Larry to go out and
perform the Mission: Impossible theme and some other song that they
should put on the next album with only drums and bass (NOT a dance
song) and Larry should sing! He can, after all, Adam can't
