Dublin News.....

Last night I was at the Hootie and The Blowfish gig at the Olympia theatre,
they were OK (i'm not a big fan), needless to say it was a late night, and
thus the ol' head is a little sore (again!!)...........right now on to
U2.......

At last weeks MTV awards sporty Spice revealed that the last time they were
in Dublin, they were sent a gift of Champagne + Guinness from Bono.........

This one is a rumour......but one I believe to have some truth.......Glasgow
Celtic are a very famous Scottish Football (Soccer to you Yanks!) Club, who
are going through a tough time on/off the field at the moment.........anyway
Kenny Dalglish (legendary scottish ex-player) and Jim Kerr (Simple Minds
frontman + good pal of Bono) have put in a bid with a consortium to buy
Celtic off existing unpopular owner Fergus McCann........rumour goes that
either/both Bono and Larry are interested in becoming major shareholders if
the Consortium takes over........Celtic are a huge club steeped in Irish
tradition, who every week attract 1000's of Irish people across the water to
watch them play........Since Dalglish + Kerr put a bid in Celtic's share
price has risen 40%!!!!!

Rumour number 2.......next years MTV Europe to be held in Dublin....laugh ye
not.......it was all the Gossip backstage
