I just received my last issue of Rolling Stone magazine, and *who's* on
the cover??? Pardon my French, but it's fucking Alanis Morisette! And
*who's* on the inside of the magazine? Fucking Metallica, R Kelly,
Beck, Duncan Sheik, Kirk Franklin, and more. WHERE THE HELL IS U2?
They're just, like, one of the biggest, greatest, most mature, most
respected modern rock groups in the world, who just released their first
ever Greatest Hits album, THAT'S ALL!
OK, fine. Maybe U2 doesn't have to have the cover *again*. And,
although I absolutely cannot stand the woman, maybe it's Alanis' time to
shine. OK, that's fair. Hey -and don't get me wrong- I loooooove Beck.
But.......why not a damn review of the new U2 CD, at *least*? *Come on,
people!*
I've been double checking, triple checking, quadruple checking, and I
*swear* they aren't in there. :( However, I could be wrong (let's hope
so). ;) I could just be overreacting as usual, and overlooked a little
article on U2. But ya know what?.............I really don't think
they're in there. I'm bummed! I am SO ready to write Rolling Stone a
letter. I wanna do it NOW! However, just in case I'm wrong about this,
I don't wanna make an even bigger fool outta myself, so could someone
tell me if they couldn't find any U2 in Rolling Stone, too? I'd
appreciate that sooooooo much. :)
And if it turns out I'm right -that there's no U2 in that damn magazine-
then LOOK OUT, honey child! I've got my pen and paper aaaaaall ready to
KICK SOME ARSE and write a big ol' fatty of a letter.
