Hey WIRE!
U2 DID NOT RELEASE A GREATEST HITS ALBUM!! They made a "Best of
1980-1990" collection. That's actually quite a difference- Sweetest Thing
had not been released until now, so it never was a hit. The album that
keeps coming to mind in all of this discussion is Peter GAbriel's "Shaking
the Tree 16 Golden Greats". While that album has many of the "hits" like
Sledgehammer and Big Time, it does not include In Your Eyes and does have
Zaar (from the Passion album/soundtrack) and Biko, which I hadn't heard
much of before.
Wishing that the misnomer quickly ends,
Scott
P.S. Have a good day, or not. Your choice.
