I wouldn't take this competition *too* seriously. It's based on how many
people can get to that site, not how many fans each of them have. I
happen to be a big fan of REM as well. I think maybe the most important
thing is that these two singers are good friends and almost have to be
participating in the competition in fun. I don't think anyone rigged
this one or anything. It's strictly "for the heck of it."
