Which version of TST we like it based on personal preference, and not by
anything that can be justifiably labeled as "stupid" or whatever. Person
X likes Bono's vocals; Person A thinks they're crummy. What's wrong with
that? I personally really like the new version-- I think it's quite
passionate, but in a really subtle way. I mean, heck, we all agree that
some of their songs are better than others, right? We're not going to
agree on which ones they are. C'est la vie. My favorite U2 album is
Achtung Baby and my all-time fave song is (surprise, surprise) "Even
Better Than the Real Thing." Speaking of passion---I think it's
downright sexy, too!!
