I think it'd be hilarious if Polygram took a bootleg, re-worked it,
packaged it and released it a an "official" recording.

I think record labels move VERY SLOWLY, however.
One day they will WAKE UP and realize that sects of audience want MORE
recordings from their favorite artists.

The Beatles Anthology sets made record executives perk up (a bit).
All industry eyes are on Bruce Springsteen's new 4-CD set (of
"unreleased" material....most available on bootlegs).

If Springsteen can sell to his "old" fans, and sell to "new" buyers; and
if U2's "Greatest Hits" sells well, then you'll see record executives
at Polygram scrambling through their Archives.
