Have you ever done this?

So, the other night I'm in the mood for some U2 as loud as my stereo
will go. But instead of listening to an album or concert, I decided to
listen to the same song over and over. Since the Please single was on
top, I listened to both Dirty Day remixes on there, and then the album
version of it. And then I listened to them all again. Have you ever
done this? There is something about listening to the same song over
again- I thought it was: haunting, enlightening, amazing, a way to
really *hear* the song after listening to it a lot, something I
recommend everybody should do. And I'm curious to know if anyone has
done this and with what song and what they thought.
