Under a blood red sky story..

Here's the deal about the difference in The Electric Co.:

apparently the copyright holder for Send in the Clowns (the "why must I
hide from myself" part) didn't give permission for U2 to use it- so a
commercial release of the song with that part included would be impossible
without a lawsuit; thus, the new-er pressings (and the majority of US
releases) doesn't include that part and goes right into "I love the
crowd". Thanks to a Wireling in Australia (thanks Adrian!), I have the
unedited version- evidently the newer Aussie releases are edited, while
the European versions might still have it, who knows.

About the video- same story. I have one of the first VHS versions- the
song is not mentioned on the jacket at all, but it is still on the video.
