I agree with your idea on the "incompleteness" of the original version
of ST, but there may be another reason: Maybe the band just wasn't
satisfied with the original version, that'd really be the only reason to
go back and remake it.. They're entitled to liking and disliking their
own songs, and maybe they just didn't like the '87 version. But.. who
knows, I just know I like both of 'em..
And while I'm at it, I wish they had remade more early bsides, like "A
Celebration" and "Treasure" maybe made them more contemporary, but then,
