Paul's "slang"

if you were to call someone "FAGGET" on the street, I sincerely doubt he'd
stop to question your spelling and definition of the word before deciding
whether or not to be offended (and give you a much-needed ass-kicking)

not that calling a total stranger "stupid" wouldn't offend in itself, but
you get my drift. . .

well actually you probably don't, but most others out there should.

This thread would probably have ended a lot quicker if Paul would just stop
being so intentionally obtuse.
