The reason on PopMart was that the pronouncing between
four and for� (I hope that's right) was the same.
I just love the bit when Bono strikes the umberella
like a golf club and shouts that.. It is just perfect
U2-symbolism.. :) It's the same thing with the USA
flag on the umberella and Bono twisting it open and close..
This was discussed on Wire some time ago, I remember.

I don't know the real reason for ZooTV, but I do
love the version from JT tours, ONE hundred! *BOOM* TWO hundred! *BOOM*
It's more striking than later - FOUR! *ZWIFFF* and I can see those fighter planes, I can see those fighter planes....

Except that overall the song is much better on ZooTV..
The burning guitar solo, the aggression at the interlude,
the song crossfading from All I want is *BOOOOM* YOU!! ALL I WANT IS YOU!! YEAH!!!
or For the first time I feel *massive guitar bombing* LOVE!!!
