ok Rob... *takes deep breath yet still remains calm* I honestly have had
enough of hearing the same old issues being raised by you... myself, I have
been a fan since 84, yet have been able to progress with U2 throughout the
90's. I commend U2 for being able to go away and 'dream it all up again'
their music only improves with time, the intensity and passion of Bono's
lyrics, the technology, imagery, and numerous other elements that have made
U2 who they are today.... not a band that faded away as so many other '80's
bands'
succumbed to their demise. You talk of being objective? maybe take some of
your own advice and get back to me... for now, go make your own compilation
of U2's greatest '80's hits'.
