MJ & U2 -- why all the discussion?

This seems like a pointless argument that for the life of me, I can't understand why it is being
discussed in such detail.

To many, probably the vast majority, U2 is just another rock group -- in 82, 86 or 92. Period.

This endless arguing about race, insulation, NBA players and their life -- really seems to be making
a mountain out of a ........

Not to mention the fact that the way I read about the MJ meeting -- it seems to me he just didn't
recognize them when he met them -- it never said that he never, ever heard of U2.
