Been away for a week.. Spect you been wondering what I've been doing..
okay okay you all probally didn't even NOTICE i have been away..but
anyway.. :P humor me..:)
Well just been a busy assed weeked, my car broke and i was depressed but
my day was made alot better when my SECOND 12" best of came in.. If any
of y'all have opened it, help me out.. is the pic of the edge with peter
Rowen on his shoulders (the slip cover for the second record) in the
best of CD? i haven't opened my bEst of Cd's and i don't plan to so if
anyone could let me know, danks a lot! :)
hrmm all this talk about set list has got me thinking.. a few songs that
i would love to hear the badn preform live would be
1.RED HILL MINING TOWN
2. SHADOWS AND TALL TREES
3. HAPPYNESS IS A WARM GUN (I'm a Beatles fan, gimme a break! :P)
4. TRIP THREW YOUR WIRES
5. TOMORROW (Yeah i know they used to do it when back when big hair ws
the rage but i would like to hear them preform sumthing new similar to
the new version on Common Ground.. just imagine that LIVE! wow..)
6. YOUR BLUE ROOM
the list can go on and on but well, hehe i am to lazy..:P
And one more things..
Whole Lotta Love.. great song by a great band.. i really think it is
great when a big band like u2 isn't afraid to attempt classic songs.. It
may be just me but i think alot of the problem with new music these days
is that the groups are going back to the roots of rock. I admit i used
just like new bands cause well they were the thing, but the moment i
decided to find out what rock was all about, everything changed. I had
a rattle n' Hum moment of my own if you will. I bout some Beatles,
Rolling Stones, Led Zep, etc ect and i fould a whole world or music that
really paved the way.. so Ye haw for those four irish lads for going
back and understanding that there is more to rock then being a 'chart
topper'
take care all!
-=And then THERE WILL BE no time for SORROW=-
