It contains the 7" vinyl singles for "A Celebration" "Fire" "A Day
Without Me" and "Gloria". The singles also contain B-Sides such as
"J. Swallow" "Things to Make and Do" "Treasure" "...Party Girl", etc.
I can give a complete listing at a later time. The singles are all
packaged together.
Anyway, it was a lifetime find. And, it only cost me $10 in 1990. It
might be legit and it might not. Even if it is not legit, at least I
have a copy of "A Celebration". (I have a feeling it is legit,
though.)
Has anyone ever heard of such a release? If so, and if this is a
legit thing, how much might these singles be worth? It was a "dream
find" for a music addict such as me. When I walked in the store and
heard the price, I said to myself 'No way...10 bucks". On the singles
themselves, there is engraving with numbers.
Of course, I do not have any intention of selling them. But, I am
curious as to their potential worth. I also would be very willing to
make cassette copies of the songs for those who might be
interested...especially those who might be willing to make a copy of
the MTV special (in '87)called "Outside it's America"...
E-mail me and I can give you additional details, etc.
Grazie!
Coram Deo...)
