State of new album

I know I'm not the only one wondering aloud...
Does the release of the Rushdie/U2 song on Apr. 23 mean the new album is
released shortly thereafter???Or will they be working on it for the rest
of the year??

I need info!!
I planned on going over to Hanover Quay studios in May in hopes of
catching a glimpse, so I was banking that they'd be taking their sweet
time with the new tracks. Looks like they are way ahead of schedule, if
this is any indication.
Oh well.
