I work at Barnes & Noble and was rummaging through our classical section
tonight when I came across a CD that might be of interest to some
Wirelings.

It's called Exile On Classical Street (London 1996) and features "Your
favorite musicians... their favorite classical music." The album
features 12 tracks selected by 12 different artists: Steven Tyler,
Bruce Hornsby, Elton John, Brian Wilson, Marianne Faithful, Michael
Stipe, Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Frank Sinatra,
Trevor Rabin, and... Bono!!

Bono's selection was: Dimitri Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 8 in C
major, largo (performed here by the Borodin String Quartet.)
