two things to write about today;
First, I'm trying to "rebuild" the complete artwork for a boot called U2
Unreleased Album. What's still missing is the on-CD art. If anyone has
this, or has any ideas for a good alternate, please let me know. Also,
if you have a good quality copy of the pic of Larry on the inside front
cover, let me know; my copy is definitely less than amazing.
Second: This is for Simone <[email protected]>:
Please don't forward email virus warnings to Wire.
The second warning mentioned is absolutely false. There is no way that
an email message can be a virus, or destroy your computer, because no
part of the message is _executed_ by the computer upon opening the
message.
The first one could possibly be true, because any program could contain
a virus... but protection against these is simple; do not run programs
that have been sent to you by people you do not know.
Email virus warnings are a common form of spam; In all my time working
on tech support at a local ISP, I have never seen even one that is
actually true.
If anyone wants a more detailed explanation, please email me.
Btw If you want screensavers etc, try www.freethemes.com... Also, if
anyone has a really good U2 theme, please let me know!
Thanks
Graham
