speak up Perth wirelings, or aussie wirelings for that matter!
i thought i had found someone close to home ... sorta, well in the same
state as me, on wire, but it was a totally different country whoops!
read below:
>The other dream was really quite bizarre. I dreamt that I had
>got in contact with Bono (don't ask me how) and arranged to meet >him
in my home town of Derby (which is situated in the middle of >England,
for any of the uninitiated).
*sigh* check out a map guys, WA is a big state and we have a Derby too
up the other end :) oh well, thems the breaks! (the above was written by
a Michael ... hi anyways!)
ok, the point of my email:
i was driving home from work today, i work south of the river and i live
north of the river ... and was doing a bit of channel surfing with the
radio to avoid the crap, and suddenly "sweetest thing" was engulfing
(spelling??) my ears ... just when i was going over the narrows (SURELY
THERE MUST BE SOMEONE ON HERE FROM PERTH WHO CAN ACTUALLY VISUALLY
PICTURE WHERE I AM DRIVING!!!) so of course this big smile comes over my
face and the volume goes UP! and just when i hit the highest part of the
bridge (not high at all but where you see the most of our umm, 10 big
buildings (yes 10, no typo, we're a small city!) Bono sings "baby's got
blue sky's up ahead" and i closed my eyes (yes while i was driving at
100km, just for a second though) and i just breathed in the fresh air
and looked up and there was not a cloud in sight, and it was this
brilliant shade of blue, and this might sound stupid, but it was just a
magical moment and it made me feel so lucky that i live in such a lovely
place ...
so thanks for those few words guys that have brightened my day and made
me see the blue skies ahead :))))))))
thats all, ta ta!
michelle
p.s. there was no rain clouds though ... (refer next line of sweetest
thing!)
