the situation was too serious...

It's all over, the war is over
                            Jim Morrison
Sorry it took me so long to reply... I wanted to come to the club
yesterday, but...
You know... It took me a long time to be able to listen to the
introduction to "Acrobat" with out having my heart jump to my mouth
every single time... you don't know what it is to be awakened in the
middle of the night by an anti-air raid allarm, and *by God*, I hope you
never will...
Yes, I also want to believe that there was no other way for the US and
the UK to act, and if "we" can't have the war toys Saddam was playing
with, well, *so can't he*.
But now what? How long before he recovers from his "victory" to threaten
the world again? how long before the US attacks again? How long before
the sirens start howling like wounded beasts again, awakening everyone
into a nightmare?
And to lighter things: I'm amazed, surprised and delighted to be (still,
again?) discovering new sounds in the "old" discs. There is so much to
listen to... I guess this is why I never get tired of U2's music...
BONO! I love you...
All my love,
Lucilla

Ask not what U2 can do for you, but what you can do for U2...
