maybe God Himself couldn't -- but we were talking about Mr. MacPhisto!

;-)

in regards to the Legends thing, Tim wrote how Bono always does the talking,
while the rest seem to be more comfortable just nodding:). me too, i'd like
to hear the instrumental section of U2 talk a bit more. i've seen a video
once with the band being guests on an Irish tv show (not sure, but it may
have been the Late Late Show; judging by their appearance, it was during the
R&H time), talking to the host and taking questions from the audience.
(hehee, i LMAO at the bits with Larry apologising to a lady that had
apparently called in to bash him for bringing a bottle of beer into the
studio, and then Bono talking about some guy following him to the men's
room:).
ok, i was going to have a point here... uhm... oh yes. SPEAKING. i always
enjoy listening to band interviews, cos each of the guys has his own way of
speaking, and they're soooo different!:) first off, there's Bono with his
soft pronunciation, and that *creeping* kind of voice (but it's a pleasant
kind of creeping, so to speak), getting all tangled, jumping from one topic
to another, giving weird comparisons, going all round the subject of the
question, but rarely answering it;p. then there's Edge, with his *sharp* and
*precise* kind of voice, and - i agree with Tim - a much reserved way of
speaking; whatever he says, between the lines there always seems to be that
"everyone cool down, i've got things under control here..." sort of thing:).
next, we've got Adam and his *elegant* way of speaking, that great accent
and the comic restraint on his face when he speaks;). it's like Adam's
in-between-the-lines message is an ironic "gentlemen, i do think it's high
time to cut this nonsense...":).
Larry? can i say he sounds very... Irish??;)

hehee, not that it really matters, but hey, there's all this time left until
the new album release, so...

tediously yours,

zorro

p.s. yes, i love using the "..." wherever i can!:-P
