I have a quick question for those who know about this fellow Richard
Butler (no, not the lead singer of the Psychedelic Furs; I'm referring
to the leader of the U.N. Weapons Inspection team). I just watched his
speech from the U.N. offices, and I was very impressed with him. He
seems like an honest man and a straight-shooter, so to speak. Is my
impression of him right, wrong, or a little of both?
I apologize to those who are put off by political discussions here
on Wire; however, as all long-time fans know, our group's devotion to
political dialogue was one of the ways they were so refreshingly
different in the '80's. This continues even today in their limited role
in contributing to the framework for eventual peace in Ireland. (If you
still insist on disliking these posts, the scroll bar is on the right.)
Thank you in advance for your help. I think responding privately may
be preferred by many (and I certainly welcome it); however, if you have
something to say that you think deserves a wider audience, by all means
reply to me here. (I don't use the scroll bar often. ;)

P.S. Since Australia is nicknamed "Oz", what would, therefore, be the
"Emerald City"? Please give your nominations privately/publicly and I
will tally the votes. I'll publish the results later.
