One year ago: the Seattle show. It was a beaut! Third row, center stage: a
beaut! The group up front that convinced Edge to reach down in his soul and
pull out "40": a coup; a brilliant underscore for the night. The two
20-year-old women going on 13 sitting behind me and my wife, playing with
alien puppets and screaming out the Edge's name like he was fucking Ringo
Starr: a pain in the ass! They were the only reason this show doesn't go
down my personal history as the greatest. My wife got entirely the wrong
idea about U2 fans because of those two skags.

P.S. -- Again, I ask, when did this list turn into the Tiger Beat mailing
list, with polls about Bono with or without glasses, his hair, his baby
pictures and the edge as a sex symbol? Puke!
