Have you been into Pier 1 Imports lately? (You know- that over-priced
store with lotsa candles and wicker stuff from around the world.)
Aaaaanyway, my fellow Bono fanatics, I work at this place and today, I
found the most wonderful candle! It says BONO on it! No joke! It's a
new Christmas candle that smells like "vanilla nut." Personally, I
don't like the smell....but I wanna buy it 'cause it says the most
bitchin' name everrrr! ;) Everyone I work with thinks I'm crazy and
that I should get the candle. They know how in love with U2 I am, for
everytime the one U2 song on our Christmas tape we play comes on, I let
out a big ol' *GASP*, screech "U2!" real quick, dance a little jig and I
can't stop smilin'. :) :) :)
Oh yeah! I forgot to tell ya why it says "Bono" on it. It says
somethin' like "Bono Natale," which I'm assumin' means somethin' like
"Merry Chistmas" or "Happy Holidays" since the frosted glass container
the candle's in is covered in those sayings in a bunch of other
languages.
Can you believe my work has a candle that says "BONO" ON IT?!? Maaaaan,
I can't believe it. That is SO COOL! So.....get to Pier 1, all you
Bono freaks! :) Even if you don't wanna buy the over-priced, dinky
little candle, that's OK. Just go in and *see* it! Oh baby, it's
maaaarvelous, lemmee tell ya. And tell them Nikki from store #202 sent
ya! :)
