A special hello to all the Wirelings I met at the dinner and the others
I talked with at the concert. It was great knowing that other people
felt the same way about U2 as I did. What a rush to walk around the
stadium wearing my Wire Tag and having people come up and ask me if it
was a backstage pass, if I knew U2, or if I was someone important. That
night I did feel important, important and special because I was
experiencing something truly incredible. The highlight was when Edge
acknowledged me, but I still get chills when I think of Bono singing
Please, WTSHNN, MW, NYD, Gone, and One. Call me corny or pathetic, but
I have tears in my eyes right now thinking about it. I have been to
other concerts, but no artist sings right to you like Bono does. Its
like he makes eye contact with every single person.
Tonight I will watch my tape of the concert, drink a bottle of wine, and
get lost again in the wonder of Popmart.
Thank you so much Bono, Edge, Larry, and Adam; words cannot express how
deeply you have touched my soul!
Peace, love, joy, remembrance, and tears!
Patti :-)
