Oh no! Not this thread again.
This is really getting annoying.
Are you the same guy that started this
thread during the tour?
It was so stupid and irritating then and
it still is.
Bono use to scream a lot.
He's said that he didn't know how
to sing for ages and they nearly threw
him out of the band early on because he
*couldn't* sing.
His singing in the 90's beats his work in
the 80's. Now he's finally learned how
play his voice like a virtuoso plays a
musical instrument.
He's been taking vocal lessons from the
coach Pavoritti recommended him to in
about 1990. The vocals on the
new Sweetest Thing are fantastic. I just
love listening to him sing it.
We don't need anybody starting up this
stupid thread again. It's dumber than the
Skag-Head thread.
If you like the songs from the 80's better
than the ones from the 90's just say it
and don't blame it on Bono's singing being
different. If Bono still sang like he did
when he was 20 or 24, he'd be a real loser.
It would be like if Edge's guitar playing had
stopped developing after 1985. All the members
of the band are driven to improve what they
contribute to the band, not to stagnate.
Larry and Adam wouldn't have spent a year
in NYC taking music lessons after AB unless
they were deticated to growing musically.
What other superband's members would still
be taking lessons to improve. Bono is always
working at becoming a better lyricist and
singer. It's insulting to him to say he's not.
Just go away and think up a more believable
thread. Are you one of J's alter egos?
Didn't you get kicked off for pretending
you were Bono?
